LawRight‘s Homelessness Law is Queensland’s free specialist legal service for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Homelessness Law implements a trauma-informed legal service delivery model to resolve priority needs connected to a person’s money, housing, health, and experience of violence.

Recognising the benefits of integrated legal assistance, our expert lawyers are embedded in eight community-based homelessness and health agencies in Brisbane and Cairns.

Our lawyers collaborate with frontline support workers, financial counsellors, healthcare professionals, and pro bono lawyers to successfully support Queenslanders to avoid or exit homelessness.

Homelessness Law created the Everyday Legal Solutions for Frontline Workers to empower Queensland’s community assistance sector with practical, targeted resources that support early, effective resolution of everyday legal issues.
